What I collect
When you send an inquiry, I keep what you type into the form: your name, email, phone, company or brokerage, the property address or location, the service and package you're interested in, your preferred date, and your message.
The form also records your IP address and browser type. I use these only to stop spam and abuse, never to track you.
When you book with me, I keep the details needed to run the job: the shoot date and location, what was ordered, the price, whether it's been paid, and my own notes about the shoot.
Your photos. I store the photos from your shoot so I can deliver them to you. Photos are kept in private storage and are only reachable through your gallery link. The smaller web and MLS versions have their camera and location data removed.
Gallery visits. I can see how many times a gallery has been opened and when it was last viewed. It doesn't record who opened it.
How I use it
- To reply to your inquiry and schedule your shoot.
- To deliver your photos and send emails about your booking, such as a confirmation or your gallery link.
- To keep basic business records, such as invoices and tax records.
I don't send newsletters or marketing emails, and I don't sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
Cookies
This site uses two small cookies, and only because it needs them to work. One protects forms from being submitted by other websites. The other remembers that you've entered the PIN for a gallery, so you don't have to type it again. There are no analytics, advertising, or social media trackers.
Who else handles it
I use a few service providers to run the site. They handle your information only so they can provide their service to me:
- Railway hosts the website and its database.
- Cloudflare stores photos and handles the domain and incoming email.
- Resend sends emails from the site, such as inquiry confirmations and gallery links.
- Google (Gmail) is where my inbox lives, so messages to [email protected] end up there.
Apart from these providers, I only share your information if the law requires it, or if you ask me to. For example, I'll send a gallery to your listing agent if you ask.
How long I keep it
Your gallery stays online for one year after delivery unless we agree on a different date. After that, I may still have copies I can send if you ask, but I can't promise it. Inquiries and booking records stay on file as part of my business records. I keep anything related to payments for as long as tax law requires. Everything else I'll delete whenever you ask.
Your choices
You can ask me to send you a copy of the information I have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and I'll take care of it, usually within a few days. The only thing I may need to keep is what tax law requires.
Security
The site uses HTTPS everywhere. Photos sit in private storage, gallery links are long and unguessable, and you can add a PIN for extra protection. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable care. If something goes wrong that affects your information, I'll tell you.
Children
This site isn't meant for children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Portrait sessions with kids are always booked by a parent or guardian.
Changes
If I change how I handle your information, I'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, such as when I add online payments, I'll say so here.
